Avid brakes functioning best when pads are changed regularly. Make a practice of checking your pads for wear and replacing them when necessary. Organic compound pads are softer, and provide quieter braking along with increased modulation. Materials for one brake included: (2) pads, (1) retraction spring, and (1) mounting bolt.
